Support to be Provided for 1000 Families Engaging in Livestock Breeding

As part of the poverty alleviation program, support will be provided to 1000 families engaging in livestock breeding, while maintaining the benefit entitlement for 12 months. This announcement was made on Facebook by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Zaruhi Batoyan.

So far, 883 individuals have signed contracts and are enrolled in the program. The signing of other contracts is currently underway.

The institutional solution for phased poverty alleviation has been provided through proposed amendments to the "State Benefits Law," which introduces the concept of "Family Stable Income Formation Fund." This will allow for the implementation of poverty alleviation programs in other sectors and directions, including families living in urban areas.
