Major Accident in Ararat Province: Injuries Reported

On December 13, a major car accident occurred in Ararat Province. Around 5:30 PM, in the 2nd kilometer section of the Avshar-Noyakert highway, a collision happened between a Mercedes vehicle with the license plate 36 MN 120, driven by 30-year-old Armen Ayvazyan, a resident of Martakert, and an Opel vehicle with the license plate 35 RR 381, driven by 17-year-old Mikayel Mikayelyan from the village of Noyakert.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, the Mercedes struck a parked VAZ-2121 vehicle with the license plate 57 NA 555, owned by 24-year-old Ashot Melkonyan, a resident of Goravan village.

As a result of the accident, A. Ayvazyan's passenger, 50-year-old Telman Khachatryan from the village of Yeghenavan, was taken to the medical center in Vedik with injuries.
