Young Man Pretending to Distribute Pensions Detained by Police

Criminal investigators from the Shengavit police department, acting on operational data received regarding a residential burglary, detained a 29-year-old man on December 8 on Sebastia Street. The suspect is a resident of Yerevan.

Following investigative measures, Shengavit police gathered factual evidence indicating that the detained individual had, under the pretense of distributing pensions, entered a house on Eghbayrutyun Street on December 7. Taking advantage of the homeowner's inattention, he stole 70,000 drams from a wardrobe.

Efforts to recover the stolen goods are ongoing, and the investigation is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
