The National Assembly is discussing the issue of amending the constitutional law on the Constitutional Court. The draft proposes that CC judges may receive a pension before reaching retirement age, calculated based on their salary on the day of their resignation and the difference from the calculated income tax.

“Yes, the schools are in this state, Ms. Zohrabyan. But why are they in that state? We have had 30 years of independence, so why are they in that state? The reason is that you also pressed buttons here with the Republicans sitting next to you. We will renovate the schools, just as we renovated the roads, just as we are addressing issues concerning the army in terms of services. No one should be worried about that. Today, we have a problem and everyone is talking about that problem. Frankly, I’m surprised that Mr. Gorgisyan says that it’s an agenda issue. That is from the same logic that Serzh is not guilty; the people around him are guilty. How is it possible that the judicial power of Armenia has no connection?” declared Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonian.

According to Simonian, the decisions of the Constitutional Court should be taken to the coffee drinkers to understand what they have written.
