At Least 15 Civilians Killed in Syrian and Russian Airstrikes
At least 15 civilians have been killed in airstrikes carried out by Syrian and Russian forces in the northwestern province of Idlib, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Thirteen people were reported dead in a shelling attack in the city of Maaret al-Numan, which is close to the Turkish border. An additional 18 individuals were injured, with many in critical condition.
One person was also killed in the Sarakib area, located in southeastern Idlib, and in the village of As-Sarman, near the provincial city of Maaret al-Numan.
The organization’s president, Rami Abdel Rahman, noted that Russian aircraft also targeted the village of Kfar Sijna, south of Idlib.
