51-Year-Old Woman Suspects Emergency Medical Personnel in Father’s Death

The Investigation Committee of Armenia's Aragatsotn region is preparing materials based on a report received by the police department in Ashtarak on December 2. A resident of Yerevan, 51-year-old Lida Gh., approached the Ashtarak police department in the evening and reported that on the same day, around 14:15, her 87-year-old father, Khoren Gh., had worsened in health and that she had called the "Ashtarak" medical center.

According to Lida Gh., the emergency medical team, led by Dr. P. Koshkeryan, arrived in response to her call and administered medication including "dexamethasone" and "verapamil" to her father, who subsequently died at home around 16:00 on the same day.

A forensic doctor who arrived at the scene stated that no injuries were discovered during the external examination of the body. Based on the decision of Senior Investigator Voskanyan, a forensic examination of the body has been appointed.
