Snow Falls on Roads in Artik, Ashotsk, Aparan, and Aragats Regions; Lars Pass is Open
The Armenian Motor Roads Authority has reported that as of November 30 at 9:30 AM, snow is falling on the roads in the regions of Artik, Ashotsk, Aparan, and Aragats, while rain is observed in the regions of Talin, Maralik, and Akhuryan. Road construction teams are currently engaged in snow removal and treatment of the roads with salt and sand.
All interstate and national roads in Armenia are open. To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, the Armenian Motor Roads Authority advises drivers to use winter tires exclusively.
According to the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, as of November 30 at 9:45 AM, snow is also falling on the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Upper Lars road. The road is open to all types of vehicles.
