Major Accident in Noragavit Neighborhood: 'Mercedes' Crashes into Inactive Traffic Police Outpost
On November 30, at 05:37 AM, the '911' service received a call reporting a traffic accident near the former traffic police outpost in the Noragavit neighborhood of Yerevan.
A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene, along with a special rescue team from the central command for specialized rescue operations. However, the latter returned due to the lack of necessity.
It was determined that a 'Mercedes' vehicle (driver: Hrachik E., born in 1991) had collided with the wall of the inactive traffic police outpost. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rescuers disconnected the power supply to the vehicle and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
