Intrusion in Ararat Province Results in Theft of 1.8 Million Rubles
On November 28, a particularly large theft occurred in Ararat Province. According to photographer Gayk Shamshyan, the police's operational management center in Yerevan received a call from a resident of one of the houses on 15th street of Nor Kharberd, 49-year-old Hripsime H., who reported that she found a broken window upon returning home.
Upon entering the house, she discovered that a theft had taken place. The police and investigators established that yesterday, between 4:20 PM and 11:50 PM, an unknown individual or individuals broke the iron bars on the kitchen window of Hripsime H.'s home and entered the house, stealing 1.8 million Russian rubles, gold jewelry, and a Lenovo tablet.
According to G. Shamshyan's information, the stolen money belonged to Hripsime H.'s husband, who is also a citizen of the Russian Federation.
