Newborn Baby Listed for Sale at Fixed Price on the Internet in the USA
A listing for a newborn baby has appeared on the American Craigslist website. The price offered for the baby was $500, according to The Sun.
The advertisement states: 'Newborn baby for sale at $500. The baby is two weeks old. He sleeps and does not make noise at night. Baby formula and clothes included. You can also take his 4-year-old sister as a gift.'
The Miami-Dade Police Department in Florida has expressed interest in the strange advertisement. Authorities are searching for the person responsible to determine whether the listing is genuine and if the individual who posted it was indeed intending to sell the baby.
The advertisement has currently been removed from the site.
