Investigative Committee Reveals Details on Illegal Adoption of Children; One Arrested

The head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee, Naira Harutyunyan, has provided information regarding a criminal case initiated on the illegal adoption of children.

"As part of the investigation into the illegal adoption of children by foreigners, conducted by the Department for Investigating Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee, an individual born in 1976 in Yerevan has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to facilitate the acquisition of two children for the purpose of care. Additional information will be provided," she stated.
