Armenians Arrested at Georgian-Russian Border with Cocaine and Hashish
Employees of the Georgian Ministry of Finance's customs service discovered drugs during a thorough inspection of a bus under the control of a citizen of Armenia, D.G., at the Kazbegi customs checkpoint. They found 149 grams of cocaine and 64 grams of hashish. This information was reported by the Georgian Ministry of Finance. According to Aliq Media, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has confirmed that three individuals have been arrested, including one driver and two passengers.
The case has been forwarded to the Criminal Police Department of the Kazbegi Ministry of Internal Affairs for further proceedings. An investigation has been initiated under part one of Article 262 of the Criminal Code. Relevant examinations are ongoing, and investigative actions are being carried out.
