Bus Heading to Armenia Stopped at Lars

The Embassy of Armenia in Georgia reports that an Armenia-bound bus was stopped at the Georgian section of the Upper Lars border crossing overnight on suspicion of carrying prohibited cargo.

The Armenian Embassy in Georgia is coordinating efforts with the relevant Georgian authorities to ensure the quick transportation of the passengers, who are Armenian citizens, back to Armenia.

Diplomats from the Armenian Embassy in Georgia will soon be at Upper Lars to assess the situation and provide food and essential supplies.
