Video: Experts at the Site of a Caucasian Leopard Attack
The Wildlife and Cultural Values Conservation Fund's press service reports that on November 20, the team from the Wildlife and Cultural Values Conservation Fund (FPWC) visited the areas adjacent to the village of Yenokavan in the Tavush region at the invitation of the Ministry of Environment's Agency for Management of Biological Resources. This visit was prompted by preliminary reports of an incident involving a Caucasian leopard that reportedly occurred the day before.
During the visit on November 20, the FPWC team spoke with the injured citizen, examined the area, and analyzed the available preliminary information. As a result, they confirmed the presence of a leopard in the locality.
Today, on November 21, the FPWC team has returned to Tavush to continue their research efforts. Further updates on the progress of their work will be provided.
