The Police Internal Security Division Has a New Chief
On November 20, the acting chief of police, Arman Sargsyan, introduced the newly appointed head of the Internal Security Division, Police Colonel Ara Mkrtchyan, to the police leadership and the division's personnel.
Ara Mkrtchyan has held various positions in the police and investigative services for many years. Arman Sargsyan emphasized the role and significance of the Internal Security Division within the police system, noting that the primary task of this subdivision, which ensures internal security in law enforcement, is to keep the police free from corrupt practices and to adequately assess every violation.
Arman Sargsyan provided specific instructions and assignments in this regard. Ara Mkrtchyan expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and stated that the challenges facing the Internal Security Division would be addressed with high responsibility.
Other issues related to the activities of the Internal Security Division were also discussed during the meeting.
