Gyumri Kyllan as a Hiding Place for Drugs and Prohibited Items: Three Incidents on the Same Day
On November 7, employees of the Armenian Ministry of Justice's "Kosh" penitentiary discovered a package hidden in the eastern part of the facility, around 16:00. The package, wrapped in adhesive tape, contained a mass weighing 27 grams resembling marijuana, along with an oval stone intended to provide weight and two other items. This information was reported by the Ministry of Justice's Penitentiary Service.
On the same day, around 16:10, staff at the "Hrazdan" penitentiary found two pieces of cannabis packaged in tin foil during a search of a prison cell. The items were discovered under a bed inside a sports bag, while a glass tube wrapped in adhesive tape and filled with a suspicious powder was found in the pocket of a jacket belonging to detainee Kh.K.
Another incident was registered at the "Artik" penitentiary. Later the same day, around 16:30, during an inspection of a delivery brought by citizen K.G. for convict S.M., a mobile phone with a SIM card, a pair of headphones, and a whitish, viscous, suspicious substance were discovered inside a boiled cow head.
Materials are being prepared regarding these facts. The discovered items have been sent for forensic examination.
