Online Check for ICU Bed Availability to be Possible, Minister Says
Information on the occupancy of intensive care unit (ICU) beds will soon be available electronically, allowing emergency medical personnel to determine in advance where to transfer a patient. This was announced by Armenia's Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, in a post on his Facebook page.
“Another innovative and electronic tool in healthcare. You might remember that sometimes there are no available beds in ICUs, and emergency services are forced to transfer the patient from one healthcare facility to another. This electronic tool will soon provide information on the occupancy of all ICU beds, enabling emergency services to determine in advance where to transfer the patient,” he wrote.
The tool will also be accessible to everyone at this link: https://armed.am/govlimits/?pg=freebeds. Additionally, I remind you that there is a tool available regarding the state order size for all healthcare institutions with state orders in Armenia, including the expenditure of funds at this link: https://armed.am/govlimits," the minister added.
