“Joghount”: Visa-Free Regime with China
The newspaper “Joghount” has learned that a draft on establishing a visa-free regime between Armenia and China will soon be presented to the National Assembly. This proposal has already been approved by the government and will soon be submitted to the parliament for consideration.
Recently, Armenian-Chinese relations have been developing further, and just yesterday, several members of parliament met with Tian Erlun, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Armenia, during which the decision to establish a visa-free regime was reaffirmed.
According to official data, the number of visitors from China to Armenia in recent years has been approximately 9,000, while in 2019, this figure reached 14,000.
