In reality, only the restrictions related to VISUAL contact with the family have been lifted, while the ban on PHONE CONVERSATIONS remains fully in effect. Agree, not everyone would want their young children to visit a prison for a visit, but they would prefer to occasionally communicate by phone, promising, for example, to return from a business trip as soon as possible with lovely gifts.
