Hayk Sargsyan Denies Charges

In a few moments, the court session regarding Hayk Sargsyan, the son of Alexander Sargsyan, brother of Serzh Sargsyan, will begin at the Shengavit residence of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.

Before that, Hayk Sargsyan, in response to several questions from reporters, simply stated, "Be well." When asked if he had any information about his brother, who is wanted, Sargsyan shook his head negatively. He refused to talk to journalists, repeating once again that he does not accept the charges against him.

It is noteworthy that Hayk Sargsyan has been charged with attempting to unlawfully kill Davit Ashoti Simonian using a firearm he unlawfully obtained and possessed. This incident allegedly occurred on April 1, 2007, around 4:00 PM, in the basement of his residence located at 11 Tumanyan Street, Yerevan. However, the crime was not completed due to circumstances beyond his control.
