Baku Sends Protest Note to Washington
The official Baku has sent a protest note to Washington regarding the visit of the Artsakh Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan to the United States. This information was reported by Rusarminfo, citing a statement from Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Leyla Abdullayeva.
According to her, the Azerbaijani ambassador in the U.S. has conveyed the complaint to the State Department. "Relevant letters have been sent to the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, the leadership, committee chairs, as well as to the American co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group," she stated.
It is worth noting that the Artsakh delegation, led by Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan, attended the discussions on the resolution H.R. 296, which recognizes the Armenian Genocide, in the chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives. After the vote, he had the opportunity to converse with the resolution's co-authors Frank Pallone and Anna Eshoo and express his gratitude to them.
