There Are Sufficient Grounds for the Development of the Banking System: Abrahamyan

During the first nine months of 2019, positive indicators were recorded in Armenia's banking system, said the President of the Union of Armenian Banks, Mher Abrahamyan, at a meeting with journalists.

"The banking system is sufficiently capitalized, which means it is capable of absorbing any type of shocks and risks. This also means that there are sufficient grounds for further growth and development," noted the union president.

He pointed out that liquidity indicators are also high in the banking system, which speaks to the trust that citizens and businesses have in the banking system.
