VIDEO: Minister of Environment Addresses Amulsar Issue
The Minister of Environment of Armenia, Erik Grigoryan, was again asked by journalists whether the Amulsar mine will be exploited or not.
“Amulsar has presented actions, a program, and impacts where responsible bodies, academic institutions, and 'Elard' have certain discrepancies. Investigative processes are underway, and the inspection is involved. If it turns out that the presented data or any processes contradict our laws, that will have consequences; if it turns out they do not, that too will have consequences,” the minister said, adding that the closure of roads makes it more vulnerable to carry out these processes.
The minister is of the opinion that there will be no need to use force.
