I Provided a Negative Conclusion on Hunanian's Early Release Request: Badasyan

I have provided a negative conclusion regarding Nairi Hunanian's conditional early release request, which means that this time it will not be sent to court. In any case, at this stage, it is no longer within the jurisdiction of the bodies subordinate to the Ministry of Justice.

This was stated by Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan in a conversation with reporters. He noted that he has no desire to meet with Nairi Hunanian, the leader of the October 27 terrorist group. “I have no desire to meet,” he mentioned.

When asked whether he believes that Hunanian could provide valuable information, the minister responded, “If he can provide valuable information, that should interest law enforcement bodies, not me.”
