Video: Injured Rescuer in Intensive Care Unit

The firefighter-rescuer who sustained burns while extinguishing a large fire in the forests of the Bazum mountain range in Lori Province has been transported by helicopter from the Vanadzor Medical Center to the National Burn Center of the Ministry of Health of Armenia. According to the Ministry of Health, he is currently in the intensive care unit.

Under the direction of Health Minister Arsen Torosyan, the operations are being coordinated by Deputy Minister Levon Hakobyan.

Preliminary data indicate that the injured individual has suffered 50% second and third-degree burns to his lower limbs and wrists, as well as injuries to the head area.
