Soldier Who Left Military Unit Will Face Criminal Liability: Defense Ministry Spokesman
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, made a post on his Facebook page regarding the desertion of a conscript soldier from their military unit. The full post is presented below:
“Regardless of the level of noise raised or the show created, as a result of leaving the military unit for more than three days, the soldier will face criminal liability.”
It is worth mentioning that a conscript soldier has voluntarily left the military unit located in the city of Kapan, Syunik Province, for several days, and there have been no updates regarding his whereabouts. This information was reported to Shamshyan.com by the relative of the soldier who left the unit, Knarik G., who pleaded for assistance in finding their soldier son.
