The Reason for Kocharyan's Dismissal Was Political Statements, Karapetyan

Prime Minister's spokesperson Vladimir Karapetyan addressed the reason behind Hovhannes Kocharyan's dismissal from the position of Deputy Chief of Police in an interview with Armenpress.

Vladimir Karapetyan noted that the reason for the dismissal was Kocharyan's political statements. "The Prime Minister has repeatedly stated that employees of the Police and Armed Forces should refrain from politics and avoid making statements with political implications. The way the police are managed is a political issue," said the Prime Minister's spokesperson.
