Prime Minister's Spokesman on Hovhannes Kocharian's Resignation
During a briefing with journalists, the spokesperson for the Prime Minister, Vladimir Karapetyan, addressed the resignation of Deputy Police Chief Hovhannes Kocharian. In response to a question regarding whether the reason was his statement made a day prior, he said, “The statement was followed by his application. He submitted a request for his release from work. I have not clarified the reason. The decision was made based on his application.”
