Police Discover 5 White Tablets and Powdery Substance in Gyumri Man's Pocket

On October 23, around 11 AM, detectives from the Mush division of the police acted on received information and detained a 54-year-old resident of Hanisoghlian Street in Gyumri on suspicion of illegal drug possession and use.

During a personal search, police discovered not only tablets of Tempalgin, Aspirin, and Paracetamol but also a polyethylene bag containing 5 pieces of white tablets and a powdery substance. According to the detained man's statement, the substance found in the polyethylene bag is methadone, which he claims he keeps for personal use.

A forensic chemical examination has been ordered. The circumstances are being clarified, and materials are being prepared on the case.
