Deputy Chief of Police Dismissed by Presidential Decree
By the decree of President Armen Sarkissian, Deputy Chief of Police Hovhannes Kocharyan has been dismissed from his position. The official website of the President has provided this information.
“Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation, in accordance with Article 133, Part 1 of the Constitution, as well as Article 13, Part 3 and Article 45, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Law on Police Service: Hovhannes Kocharyan is dismissed from the position of Deputy Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia and from service in the Police of the Republic of Armenia,” the decree states.
