Samvel Mayrapetyan to Undergo Surgery Again in Germany: Lawyer

Samvel Mayrapetyan is undergoing further examinations in Germany. Doctors have provided the relevant documentation stating that he must remain under their supervision until the upcoming surgery, which is expected to take place soon.

This was stated by Mayrapetyan's lawyer, Lusine Sahakyan, in an interview with ArmDaily.am.

"The doctors have concluded that he needs to be under supervision, especially considering that his health condition has worsened again," the lawyer stressed during the interview, adding that it is currently impossible to specify when the surgery will take place and when Mayrapetyan might be able to return to Armenia.

She also mentioned that the relevant documents have been forwarded to the Special Investigative Committee.

Mayrapetyan was unable to return within the stipulated reasonable time, as his condition deteriorated at the airport and he was once again transferred to a medical center.

It is worth noting that Mayrapetyan had traveled to Germany for medical treatment as early as January. The businessman is accused of facilitating bribery.
