Grigoryan Receives 793,000 Salary and 240 Liters of Gas Coupons Without Attending Constitutional Court Sessions
The judge of the Constitutional Court, Vahe Grigoryan, has not participated in any sessions since taking office, according to a response from the Constitutional Court to a written inquiry by Aysor.am.
According to the information provided to the media by the Constitutional Court, "The salary of constitutional court judges is regulated by the law on the remuneration of public office holders, according to which the monthly salary calculated for Vahe Grigoryan (including base salary and additional allowance for length of service as a judge) amounts to 793,680 drams."
Grigoryan has been awarded bonuses four times. "Since taking office as a judge of the Constitutional Court, Vahe Grigoryan has not participated in any sessions and has not acted as a reporting judge in any case. No information regarding his respectability has been provided by him," the response stated.
After assuming the position, Grigoryan was also provided with an official car (Hyundai Elantra), which was later replaced with another vehicle due to the need for repairs, as well as 240 liters of gas coupons issued for the vehicle each month.
