My Brother's Children Are Not Allowed to Visit My Father: Levon Kocharian
The grandchildren of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, are unable to visit him. This was stated by Levon Kocharian during a conversation with journalists today, October 21.
He shared that Robert Kocharian's surgery went well. "He is probably already doing better since he has been transferred. I visited on Friday and spent several hours with him; he was doing well and recovering," said Levon Kocharian.
Addressing the issues related to visitations, he noted that he is allowed to visit his father, but his brother's children are not. "There was some problem; they weren't allowed. They explain it differently, but the fact remains that they were not allowed. They were not given the opportunity, which is absurd," he added.
It should be noted that on October 9, Robert Kocharian underwent surgery at the Izmirlian Medical Center.
Robert Kocharian is accused of overthrowing the constitutional order and receiving large-scale bribes in connection with the March 1 case. The second president has been detained three times, the latest being on June 25, based on the decision of Court of Appeals judge Armen Danielyan.
