Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar has announced that during the "Peace Spring" military operation carried out by Turkey in northern Syria, "1 Turkish soldier has died and 3 others have been injured," according to cnnturk.com.

It was noted that "artillery sergeant Ahmet Topcu has suffered a painful death." The Minister of Defense has sent his condolences.

The minister also mentioned that "the number of enemy casualties has reached 277." On October 9, Turkey began its military operation named "Peace Spring" in northern Syria, utilizing numerous armored vehicles and air forces along the border. The Turkish army is supported by the armed formation known as the "Syrian National Army."

Yesterday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that since the start of the Turkish military operation in northern Syria, "109 terrorists have already been neutralized," referring to members of the PKK.
