Such an Opening Has Not Been Seen in Their 40-Year History: WCIT-2019 Organizational Committee President

The president of the Organizational Committee of the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT-2019), Alexander Esayan, considers the first day of the conference to be successful. He shared this in an interview with Armenpress.

“From the people who arrived in the country, as well as from guests and participants, I hear that there is great enthusiasm, and everyone is at least approaching and saying that they came expecting the conference to be good, but they never imagined that such a conference could take place. Personally, my impression is very positive. I think we have managed to achieve what we aimed for,” said Esayan.

The president of WCIT-2019’s organizational committee noted that the cultural opening ceremony and the panel discussions especially impressed the Global Alliance on Information Technology and Services. “At the opening, it was noted that they have not had such an inauguration in their 40-year history, which was very encouraging for us. You know what countries have hosted WCIT, and people are amazed by our opening ceremony. We are also receiving very positive feedback regarding the discussions,” he mentioned.

According to Alexander Esayan, interesting discussions are expected within the framework of the conference on October 8 as well.
