Police Investigate Armed Robbery Incident

On the night of August 28, the Central Police Department received a report from the "Saint Gregory the Illuminator" Medical Center that a 26-year-old man had been admitted with a diagnosis of skull trauma and concussion. According to him, he had been assaulted by unknown individuals near the Yerevan City Hall.

A forensic medical examination was ordered.

Criminal investigators from the Central Police Department initiated various operational measures to clarify the actual circumstances of the incident. According to current known data from the investigation, the young man had been subjected to armed robbery.

Soon, the identity of a suspect involved in the crime was established. A 33-year-old resident of Hrazdan was located and taken to the Central Police Department, where he was then presented to the authority conducting the preliminary investigation of the case. The investigation of the initiated criminal case is ongoing.
