Legal Action: Armen Muradyan Demands Retraction of Defamatory Statements from Arsen Torosyan

The Rector of Yerevan State Medical University, Armen Muradyan, has filed a civil lawsuit against the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, according to aysor.am.

The case has been assigned to Judge Grigor Vardanyan of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.

Armen Muradyan is demanding a retraction of defamatory statements and compensation for damages caused.

It is worth noting that when pediatric oncologist Gevorg Tamamyan disrupted Arsen Torosyan’s press conference, the minister later stated that the campaign against him was orchestrated by Armen Muradyan.

Muradyan responded to Torosyan, stating, “The mental peace of a public official should be more tranquil, and truthfulness should be paramount.”
