Negotiations on Direct Flights between Georgia and the USA
The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Natia Turnava, has traveled to the USA with a delegation from the ministry to negotiate direct flights to Georgia with two American airlines.
The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reports that the minister will meet with representatives of the world's largest airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines, to present a detailed overview of Georgia.
Turnava previously stated that the launch of direct flights between the USA and Georgia would be a positive political step, reflecting the strategic partnership with the USA, while also being attractive for commercial companies.
