Fact: Sasun Mikayelyan Was Not Invited to the Closed Meeting of the CP
The newspaper "Fact" reports that discussions about the existing polarization within the ruling force are gradually taking on tangible forms. In particular, there has been ongoing talk about the perceived unfriendliness towards Sasun Mikayelyan within the government. A striking piece of evidence cited is that, despite being the head of the ruling Civil Contract party's executive board, Mikayelyan was not elected to the new board, even though he and his party colleagues attempted to frame it as a non-event, claiming that the elections were democratic.
The "stories" surrounding Mikayelyan began after the mayoral elections in Abovyan, where he failed to defend the candidate nominated by the provincial governor. Following all these developments, new details have emerged regarding Mikayelyan's absence from the recent closed meeting of the Civil Contract party. Not only did he not participate, but he was reportedly not even invited at all.
