‘Zhamanak’: Prior to the Fire, the State Revenue Committee Planned Extensive Inspections at ‘Vega’
‘Zhamanak’ newspaper writes: “Recently, the causes of the large-scale fire that broke out at ‘Vega’ are still under investigation, however, it is becoming increasingly substantiated that human factors may have played a role. Specifically, according to ‘Zhamanak’ reports, prior to the fire, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) was preparing to conduct extensive inspections at ‘Vega’. The owners of the store were also aware of this. As they say, the inspections from the SRC were preceded by the fire.
During the firefighting efforts, sources told us that both Samvel Aleksanyan, who represents the property owner, and the store owner appeared to be extremely calm, which seemed quite strange at the moment. Aleksanyan even told the store manager to not worry. It is already known that ‘Vega’ was insured.
