Further 'Humanization' Process of the Artsakh Issue is Inevitable: Lilit Makunts

Lilit Makunts addressed her speech during a meeting with representatives of the Armenian diplomatic corps at the National Assembly on her Facebook page. She stated: ‘In the context of parliamentary diplomacy, regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the peace negotiation process, I must emphasize that Artsakh represents primarily our compatriots living in their homeland and ensuring their security. We will continue to speak on all platforms of parliamentary diplomacy about the right to self-determination and existential security issues of our compatriots living in Artsakh. The further ‘humanization’ process of the Artsakh issue is inevitable.

We continually stress that the Republic of Armenia is the guarantor of Artsakh's security, and there can be no second opinion on this, but I also want to highlight that Artsakh, in turn, is a guarantor of our collective security as a nation.’
