Armen Ashotyan: Arrest Serzh Sargsyan to Prevent Bloodshed Again
The main officials of the ruling party, led by a family newspaper, fell into chaos due to Ambassador Minasian's interview and hurriedly began to deny the news regarding the political decision to arrest Serzh Sargsyan. This was noted by the Deputy President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, on his Facebook page.
He particularly mentioned: "It was evident that after one interview and a few posts, the ruling hierarchy began to wobble. The 'Amulsar' operation was left without distracting informational shows, the consequences of which have been visible on social networks for two days now.
Unfortunately, as I have said, this does not smell good, and it is predictable that this confrontation will not be limited to the internet and will move into reality with clashes, violence, and God forbid, bloodshed.
Monitoring how quickly and sharply developments related to Amulsar are evolving, I repeat again: arrest Serzh. This is your only chance to avoid bloodshed. With your lies, incompetence, and treachery, you have always led everything to blood.
In April 2018, Serzh Sargsyan had already made sacrifices, and the country was not drenched in the blood of its own citizens. Now he is still your only lifeline to prevent possible conflicts and violence. Arrest him to prevent blood from being shed again. Serzh is used to taking the blows directed at the state upon himself. He is a scapegoat."
