Gunfire Reported in Vanadzor: 32-Year-Old Man Hospitalized with Gunshot Wounds
On August 14, gunfire was reported in the Lori province, according to Shamshyan.com. Around 8:00 PM, a call was received by the police from the Vanadzor medical center, indicating that a citizen with gunshot wounds had been admitted.
Police and investigators determined that the victim had been transported from near the "Argishti" hotel complex in Vanadzor, and he is identified as Levon Zuloyan, a 32-year-old resident of the city.
Authorities discovered seven spent cartridges of 9mm caliber at the scene. A criminal case has been initiated based on Article 34-104, Part 1 (attempted murder) and Article 235, Part 1 (illegal carrying, possession, or use of weapons or ammunition) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
According to sources, the hotel complex in question belongs to Samvel Darbinyan, the former mayor of Vanadzor.
