Who and Why is Vandalizing Playgrounds in Yerevan's Courtyards: User Suren Galstyan
Facebook user Suren Galstyan has shared a photo on his Facebook page, accompanied by a post that reads:
“This was one of the very few playgrounds left in the courtyards of Yerevan. No, it wasn’t drunken hooligans or children who broke it. It was the residents of the building who did it, so that children would no longer gather and make noise. Perhaps they were cutting noise for some mindless soap opera, I don’t know... Of course, this is not new; replacing playgrounds with car garages, paying 120,000 drams for parking spots, but lamenting the loss of a playground is just one of those things. In any case, I still can’t come to terms with this scene...”
Note: The photo was taken in one of the courtyards in Shengavit.
