Vandalism Incidents on Gravestones Have Increased, Says Yerevan Municipality

Recently, there has been a noticeable increase in incidents where gravestones in cemeteries are being vandalized by certain individuals. This information has been reported by the Yerevan Municipality.

“Cases of candle wax being melted on gravestones have also been recorded in community cemeteries. To prevent such incidents, the Yerevan Municipality’s Special Population Services has already contacted the Armenian Police on July 23, where materials are being prepared,” the municipality stated.
