Temperatures to Rise Up to +42
From July 21 to 23, due to the inflow of tropical warm air currents from Iraq, the air temperature in Yerevan, Ararat, and Armavir regions, as well as in the Syunik valley area, will reach +40 to +42 degrees Celsius during daylight hours (from 16:00 to 18:00).
This was reported by Gagik Surenyans, the head of the meteorological service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, on his Facebook page.
With no precipitation expected and the forecasted high thermal background, a high fire risk situation is also anticipated in the valley and pre-mountain areas of the republic over the next five days.
