Facebook user Arsen Arakelyan has published photos on his page, accompanying them with the comment: “Yerevan is irreversibly losing its face, becoming a pile of incomprehensible, tasteless, and ugly buildings... in the photos, the next act of vandalism is being constructed next to the few remaining elegant buildings with a distinct Armenian character on Republic Street.”
