Fire Hazard Situation: Weather in Armenia

WARNING: In the next 5 days, a high-level fire hazard situation is expected in valley and pre-mountainous areas.

In the territory of the Republic, on the afternoon of July 18, on the 19th, there will be brief rain and thunderstorms in certain parts of the northern regions, and on the 23rd, isolated showers are also possible in some areas. From July 20 to 22, dry weather is forecast.

The wind will be from the southwest at 3-8 m/s, with possible gusts of 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms. The air temperature will rise by 2-3 degrees on July 21 and will decrease by the same amount on the afternoon of the 23rd.

In Yerevan, dry weather is expected in the afternoon of July 18, and from the 19th to the 22nd. On the evening of the 23rd, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some sections of the city.
