Armos Company Sues MP Gevorg Gorgisyan

Armos LLC has filed a lawsuit against Gevorg Gorgisyan, the Secretary of the Prosperous Armenia faction in the National Assembly. This information has been obtained from the judicial information system.

The plaintiff is demanding the court to oblige Gorgisyan to retract damaging information about their business reputation, publicly apologize, and pay compensation.

Tigran Ghazaryan, a representative of Armos LLC, informed NEWS.am that the basis for filing the lawsuit was Gorgisyan's speech from the parliamentary podium on June 19.

It should be noted that in his speech, Gorgisyan addressed Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, stating that employees of the Armos shoe production company approached him and indicated that the company had not paid their salaries.

“The company has issued threats against the complaining citizens, stating that they will not be able to find work elsewhere,” the MP declared.

The lawsuit was submitted to the court on July 4. The case has been assigned to Judge Zhanna Asatryan of the Yerevan City Court of General Jurisdiction.
