A Lawsuit Filed Against Kotayk Governor Demanding Defamation Denial

A citizen named Venera Gyulinyan has filed a lawsuit against Kotayk Governor Romanos Petrosyan, demanding a denial of defamation. This was reported by the Judicial Information System.

The case has been assigned to Judge Mekhak Gevorgyan of the Kotayk Regional Court of First Instance.

It is worth mentioning that on June 9, during the Abovyan mayoral elections, Romanos Petrosyan discovered a list with names and phone numbers near Venera Gyulinyan at one of the polling stations. The Governor stated that Gyulinyan is a trusted person of the current mayor and mayoral candidate Vahagn Gevorgyan and the head of the Abovyan Student Council of the Gagik Tsarukyan Charity Foundation.
